Privacy Policy
ezListr ("we", "us", "our") is a toolkit for Etsy sellers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. We've kept it short on purpose.
1. What we collect
Account data. When you sign up, Clerk (our authentication provider) collects your email address and, if you choose, your Google or other OAuth profile. We store a reference to your Clerk user ID so we can associate your data with your account.
Etsy shop data. If you connect your Etsy shop, we receive an OAuth access token and use it to read and update your listings on your behalf. We do not store your listings data beyond what is needed to display and edit it in your current session.
Image data. Photos you upload to the Cropper, Mockup Builder, or Gallery are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to our servers.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and features are used. This collects anonymised session data (page views, device type, rough location). You can opt out via your browser's do-not-track setting or a standard ad-blocker.
2. How we use your data
- Authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
- Connect to the Etsy API on your behalf to fetch and update listings.
- Understand how the product is being used so we can improve it.
- Send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts) — no marketing without your consent.
3. Third-party services
We use a small number of sub-processors:
- Clerk — Authentication and user management.
- Etsy API — Reading and writing your shop's listings.
- Stripe — Payment processing for paid plans. We never see your card details.
- Google Analytics — Anonymised usage data.
We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Etsy OAuth tokens are revoked immediately on disconnect or account deletion. Anonymised analytics data may be retained for up to 26 months per Google Analytics' standard retention.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@ezlistr.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (set by Clerk). We use Google Analytics cookies for usage measurement. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without affecting core functionality.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of ezListr after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
